‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Upcoming titles, including Adam Lambert appearances, 100th episode
There has been a little bit of confusion as of late when it comes to “Glee’s” future, and at times for understandable reasons. The show hasn’t been on the air since the fall, and thanks in part to the long baseball delay and also the tragedy with Cory Monteith, it has been harder at times to follow exactly what is going on for the show.
Well, we’ve now assembled (thanks in part to SpoilerTV) a specific guide regarding some of the episodes that are coming up ahead. At least two of these coming up feature Adam Lambert, and Demi Lovato also has some story coming up. In addition to all of this, we also have the two-part 100th episode spectacular ahead that features the return of Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Heather Morris, and so many more important faces to the franchise.
Let’s go through these episode by episode.
5×09, “Frenemies,” which is set to feature more from Adam Lambert. (It is unclear if Demi will be in this one.) This is the first episode back, airing on February 25.
5×10, “Trio,” which will feature more from Adam and Demi.
5×11, “City of Angels,” which is by far the most mysterious title of the group. Obviously this is a reference to Los Angeles, but with the 100th episode ahead, almost all of the news surrounding it overshadowed much of what happened here. What we do know is that it is Nationals in L.A., and that Skylar Astin of “Pitch Perfect” will appear as Jean-Baptiste, a rival singer from the group Throat Explosion.
5×12, “100,” and the title here really speaks for itself.
5×13, “New Directions.” This is the episode currently filming, and the one that will supposedly mark the end for the glee club at McKinley High courtesy of Sue Sylvester finally finding a way to shut it down. After this, the setting will move over to New York City, where some of the cast members from Lima will migrate over (though not all of them).
We will have more “Glee” news throughout the process, so be sure to be on the lookout for that. Also, head over to the link here if you want to get some more TV news worth singing and dancing about via email.
