‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’: NeNe Leakes addresses violence in recent episode
There have been many crazy moments on “The Real Housewives” over the years, but anytime that the show gets physical is at the top of the list for when we want to turn the channel. While it may be real, we like to imagine that there are better reality shows out there where you can get that sort of in-the-face storytelling without it escalating to this violent level. To us this show has always been something overly dramatic, silly, and a guilty pleasure.
So seeing the physical altercation involving Chris Williams, Apollo Nida (facing a number of other problems right now), and Kenya Moore’s assistant Brandon DeShazer on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” was pretty terrible. There were all sorts of allegations about Chris’ past courtesy of what Kenya Moore brought up at the wine tasting earlier this season, and there was some alleged confrontation that took place between her and Natalie Williams that was not seen on the show at the scene of the fight. NeNe claims all of this in her blog, and that it was at this point that Chris stepped in for his wife, and things really started to get nasty.
Meanwhile, NeNe also took a few minutes to speak out against the incident in general, and blast the idea of what it represents for her show and also her community:
“In my opinion Kenya was the spark that lit the fire. Whenever she’s around, we have the worst times. I’ve been on this show from the very beginning and we have NEVER had a physical altercation on this show! I am all about a good read, throwing shade and even getting you together when need be but violence is never okay to me. I think it’s a sad display of behavior and I think it is sad to the black community to be a part of such negative activity! I am bigger, I am better and for that I apologize!”

Nene is still in denial. I am not a big fan of Kenya Moore, however, Nene has been acting “hollier than thou” lately. Are you serious? How are you helping couples get their relationships better, when you are bringing hot buttons subject that you know ignited arguments earlier. that subject had nothing to do with the other couples or could in no way enhance marriages or relationships. Cynthia and NENE both need to come down and squash “their superior attitude.” Christopher Williams stood up, when Porsha tried to get him to sit down, he refused. But as a woman, I am ok with Kenya not wanting a man tower over your space in a very threatening way. As she was moving away, he grabbed her arm. “NOT OK…NEVER OK!” For once, Nene needs to take responsibility for her actions and words hurting others. Pick up a dictionnary too, the word is BRIDESMAID…not BRIDE maid. It is annoying as heck to see these African american wormen embarrass themselves and act so ignorant.

Ditto….Nene is the “Queen” of projecting blame onto others (as well as stirring the pot, her job of course, but just own the crap.) She is the “ring leader” of I take “no blame” game. Even when her son got a girl pregnant out of wedlock. That was on him, I raised him right and I’m not responsible for his actions. Gurl Bye!
