‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: Rose McGowan stages return

What's next? -Did you think that you had seen the end of young Cora on “Once Upon a Time“? Think again. As it turns out, you are still going to see at least a little bit more of this version of the character in action.

Sources have confirmed that you are going to see none other than Rose McGowan back on the show again moving forward as the young version of the mother of Regina, played prior to her character’s death by Barbara Hershey. This guest appearance will come around the midway point of the second half of this season, which will start airing on ABC come Sunday, March 9.

For many here, we imagine that the largest question here is simply why we are going to see more of this character at all. Isn’t the tale of Cora already told? Obviously,  not enough. There is something still important in her past for us to have to figure out just what that may be, and it could cross back into what is the story for Regina in the present now. Given that Cora is dead, the major complication here is that it makes her story a little bit harder to tell.

“Once Upon a Time” has already cooped up a number of other guest actors to appear in the second half of this season, which is highlighted most of all by former “Lost” actress Rebecca Mader, who is set to play the Wicked Witch in an extended arc in the second half of this season. We have also confirmed that you will see at least a little bit more of Rose McIver as Tinker Bell and JoAnna Garcia Swisher as Ariel, who were both standouts of the early part of this season.

What do you think about seeing more Cora: Are you excited, or quite frankly indifferent? Either way, we want to hear some of your thoughts below! Also, be sure to sign up now for our CarterMatt Newsletter if you want to score even more updates from us.
