‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: More Juan Pablo Galavis – Sharleen Joynt awkwardness
For whatever reason, we find the relationship between Juan Pablo Galavis and Sharleen Joynt on “The Bachelor” to be extremely entertaining. A good part of this probably stems from just how awkward the two of them are around each other, but it’s also somewhat nice to have a dynamic that feels far less forced than with some of the other contestants. Sharleen is really the only contestant all season who has been open about her feelings towards Juan Pablo, and her doubts, since the very beginning … even if it has been just to us.
What we know about the episode Monday night is that they are going to get a ton of time to try to talk some things out. She is actually going to be the only Juan-on-Juan (yes, we will continue to say that) date during this episode in South Korea, and the two are going to have some serious conversations about where they are at.
From Sharleen’s standpoint, one thing that she really has to be honest with him about is her current plans regarding a family and children. She is not someone who stays in one place forever, largely because of her job. Is she really ready for a larger family?
Speaking of her job, we do at least know that Sharleen is going to finally perform for the first time all season on this episode, which you can see two ways: It is promotion for her career, and that can be frowned upon at times. However, at least it is a talent that is real and some people will be interested in. Not only that, but at least she didn’t start singing an aria the moment she got out of the limo like the majority of the other contestants.
We’ll have some more scoop on “The Bachelor” over the next few days, so stay tuned for more on that. Also, click here for our full review of Monday’s crazy episode, or here if you want to sign up for our CarterMatt Newsletter for weekly updates.

I take this article as vindication for some of the doubts I’ve had about Sharleen. Frankly, I was surprised that a person with her background; education, experience, successful career, and sophistication would even consider being on a reality dating-mating show. Juan Pablo is simply not in her league, and it’s only a matter of time until she leaves the show.
