‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Rachel Bilson, ‘Act Naturally,’ and Zoe drama
While there has been a little bit of conflict on “Hart of Dixie” season 3 so far when it comes to Zoe and the gang, but most of it has been of the silly variety. This show is all about fun first and foremost, and when we talk about drama, the cool thing is that none of it is ever so serious that it is going to cause you to devolve into a mess of tears and depressing.
Based on what we see below, that same can be said for “Act Naturally,” which is the episode airing following the on Monday night. The “drama” for Rachel Bilson’s character comes courtesy of her mom, and also potentially some conflict when it comes to her relationship with Joel. (This does at least seem to be some sort of confirmation that these two are still together at the moment.) Also, Wade and Vivian Wilkes have some more trouble, and then, there are George and Tansy … who certainly had a moment on this past episode.

“Zoe (Rachel Bilson) reluctantly agrees to allow Joel (guest star Josh Cooke) to throw her a birthday party at Lavon’s (Cress Williams) to help cheer him up, but things go awry when her mom (guest star JoBeth Williams) surprises her with a visit. Vivian (guest star Lauren Bittner) wants to meet Wade’s (Wilson Bethel) dad, but Wade is leery of how she might react. AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black) gets an interesting request from the Belles that she was not expecting but, in light of recent developments might be the perfect distraction for her. Meanwhile, George (Scott Porter) is determined to prove to Tansy (guest star Mircea Monroe) that his nemesis Scooter McGreevy (guest star Matt Oberg) has not changed and is fooling everyone.”

So annoyed with this season. Umm Zoe should not be with Joel. She needs to be with WADE… or George for all that matters. Not this new guy. All these new people need to go. oh and we need some more light comedy.

I would like to see the return of DOCTOR Hart. I am looking forward to having Crazy Earl back. Mostly I want to see the comedy and endearing small town camaraderies of the first two seasons instead of the silly melodramas of season three. Sure I want to see Zade back, it supported the story of an ambitious, snobby New York doctor coming to a small southern town and being bewitched by the charm of the simple, sweet and very wise townsfolk. It also indulged our fantasies of the under dog getting the girl. Now it’s just two New Yorkers that came to town and seem totally out of place. It’s just all so sad and it seems like the writers are digging a hole they will not be able to get out of. It’s a real shame.

Agree!!!! I don’t know who the writer is for 3rd season or what they are trying to do but it has not worked at all!!! Not a fan of Joel… They have added to many new characters!!!
