‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 16 video: Ashley Benson as a torn-up Hanna

What still is very interesting about “Pretty Little Liars” is that even though all of these ladies have a horrible monster in “A” chasing after them, Hanna can still be more devastating about a relationship than anything else.

In the sneak peek below from Tuesday night’s “Close Encounters,” you see her in a completely vulnerable and damaged place. She feels like Caleb completely abandoned her, and she doesn’t know how to move forward. Thanks to that, her move appears to be trying to take away almost everything that once mattered to him from her life … including some of her favorite clothing.

In the video below, you can see the character casting aside some of her wardrobe, including a skirt that she proclaims was “Caleb’s favorite.” So why would she do this, and punish herself? It is probably just because she is in the middle of a breakup, and is not thinking clearly at all.

While it may not matter too much right now to say it, but we still do not think that her and Caleb are necessarily over at all. He may be out in Ravenswood for now, but we know that he loves her and just feels the need to protect everyone else in that town. But then again, he may not be out there for long. With the ratings for this show firmly on the bubble, it is theoretically possible that the spin-off is canceled, and then Caleb suddenly pops up in Rosewood yet again. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
