‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Looking ahead with Juan Pablo Galavis’ season
Over the course of this entire weekend, odds are that you have already heard quite a bit about “The Bachelor” and Juan Pablo Galavis. So what are we going to be talking about here? Surprisingly, what is actually coming up on the season.
In news that was clearly overshadowed by some comments that Juan Pablo made about a possible homosexual bachelor, it was also announced over the course of the ABC TCA event this weekend that moving forward this season, there is another night coming that will feature a two-night “Bachelor” event. Specifically, we are talking about the episodes airing on February 24 and the 25, which is right after the Winter Olympics in Sochi come to a close. These episodes will feature both the hometown dates and also the fantasy suite episodes.
So what is the real purpose of this? Basically, it keeps “Dancing with the Stars” starting up at the right point in the season. “The Bachelor” will end on the 10th of March, and the ballroom competition will premiere the following week. While at one point we certainly felt like we were going to see Juan Pablo in the cast given that he loves to dance, we have a feeling now that this is probably not going to happen anymore.
The week after this double-episode, that is when you can expect the “Women Tell All” special to air. There could be some very interesting stuff talked about then, but we imagine that it will be split between people trying to defend Juan Pablo, and then plenty who bad-mouth him.
What do you think is going to happen on “The Bachelor” the rest of this season, or are you really that interested anymore after the controversy? Share your thoughts below.
