‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 16 video: What’s next for Hanna, Travis?

Is Travis the albatross of “Pretty Little Liars” right now? That’s a difficult question to answer. On the surface, he actually feels like a pretty nice guy who cares about Hanna. Unfortunately, at the same time he has that sort of terrible challenge of trying to live up to the standards that were set by Caleb, both to the fans and to the other characters on the show.

The sneak peek video below from Tuesday’s episode more or less feels like the sort of thing that you would see in all sorts of teen movies: Travis “teaching Hanna how to play pool.” This is really just an excuse for the two to be close to each other, and there is at least a little bit of chemistry that is there between them.

But, are Travis’ motives really as nice as they seem? While it sounds foolish to really question every single person who is a part of the show, that is almost what we are conditioned to do at this point thanks to all the times that we’ve been betrayed. Just look at what Ezra is up to now, or what Mona did to Hanna in the past. You could even throw Toby on this list of traitors, even though he did eventually come around and show that he was just trying to work the “A Team” from the inside as a means to protect Spencer further. Until the time in which “A” is actually destroyed once a for all, it is going to be beyond difficult for us to look at one of the characters and say whole-heartedly that we trust their motives.
