ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: First photo of Stana Katic’s Beckett in a wedding dress!

On Monday night’s episode of “Castle” entitled “Deep Cover,” we learned something beyond just that Richard Castle’s father is occasionally a pretty terrible person; we also had a chance to find out that Castle and Beckett are now moving towards having a wedding in September. That means that following the inevitable season 7 renewal, the two parties could tie the knot in a ceremony airing at the start of the season in the fall.

This leads us to Beckett and the dress. While we cannot sit here and say for sure that the gown the character is wearing here will be the same one that she wears when (and if) she walks down the aisle, it will still be a part of the January 27 installment entitled “Dressed to Kill.” Speaking to TV Guide, Stana Katic herself had a little bit of fun with all of this wedding conversation, and started to explain a little bit of what she would like to see whenever the two decide to tie the knot:

“There’s got to be some espionage stunt that screws up the wedding and leads them to city hall to just get it over with … They are constantly living on the edge, and their wedding day should be no different.”

Given that this is “Castle,” we imagine that there will be something insane that happens that will keep the entire ceremony from happening in the way in which it was planned. That is part of the fun! We just have to hope that it will not be ruined by one of the two people that we commonly associate right now with being the major villains of the show: 3XK (who is presumably still out there) or Senator Bracken, who has yet to surface this season.
