‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: Zoe and Joel, Wade and Vivan, and relationship woes

Who would have expected there to be some relationship drama ahead on “Hart of Dixie” season 3? If we know you as well as we think we do, you are probably screaming back “everyone” at us. The general feeling here has been that no relationship on this show stays good for long, with the biggest reason for that being simply that there are always bumps in the road, and the producers don’t want to tie someone to someone else permanently. If that happens, there are suddenly fewer stories to give that person.

The news that we are here to share today is from the 11th episode of the season airing two weeks from tomorrow, entitled “One More Last Chance.” For those of you who like to keep track of the singers behind all of these titles, this one is from Vince Gill. As for the sources of the couples’ conflict, it goes everywhere from jealousy (George and Lynly) to finding the right place to live (Rachel and Joel) to the old standby otherwise known as making sure that you are ready for a serious relationship (Wade and Vivian). Just take a look at the full synopsis below:

“In a last ditch effort to stop the merger, Lavon (Cress Williams) enlists the entire town’s help to try and convince the Lt. Governor (guest star Dondre Whitfield, “Mistresses”) that BlueBell should be named a historic town. Zoe (Rachel Bilson) and Joel (guest star Josh Cooke) continue to debate where to live, but the best option lies with Zoe’s relative, who does not like New Yorkers.  Wade (Wilson Bethel) takes a big step in his relationship by meeting Vivian’s (guest star Lauren Bittner) son, but he soon realizes he has a long way to go to win him over. Meanwhile, Lynly (guest star Antoinette Robertson) is having some trust issues with George (Scott Porter), which starts to create tension between them.”

By the end of this one, are we going to have answers on every little thing that you’re curious about? It’s doubtful … as in VERY doubtful. The more likely situation that we are facing here is that we will have clarity on what relationships are tracking upward, and which ones are in trouble. For example, we have a hard time thinking that either Zoe and Wade are in an endgame scenario with the people that they are with, even if we do like Joel.
