‘The Blacklist’ episode 11 video: James Spader’s Reddington takes on interrogation

The Blacklist logo any seasonHave you missed “The Blacklist”? It’s been a while since we have seen the likes of Raymond Reddington and Elizabeth Keen on the screen, but the last time that we did, some big stuff definitely happened. We saw Red tell Liz that he wasn’t her father, and that she needed to look out for her husband. Then, he slipped away to possibly deal with what were some of his own problems … which all trace back (at least for now) to Anslo Garrick.

After seeing the scene unfold with the FBI in the last episode, coupled with the interrogation by the character we like to refer to as Evil Alan Alda, it’s no surprise that Red is on the hunt for revenge, and he is going to do just about everything that he can to make it happen.

The entire sneak peek below is basically an extended torture scene, where you have a chance to sit around and watch Reddington have the most fun that someone can have with alcohol and cigars without actually using them for their intended purpose. He gets some of the information that he wants about what Garrick was up to, and then goes along his way.

Is James Spader’s character working with the FBI right now? Hardly, but we imagine that this is going to change at some point in the future. The show wouldn’t be what it is if he stays separate from Liz and the team forever, but before he gets there, obviously he has some unfinished business to take care of.

What do you think about this “Blacklist” preview? Of course, we want to hear from you below!
