‘Real Housewives of New York City’ trailer: Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, and (of course) drama
Are you ready to dive back in to “The Real Housewives of New York City”? If you are, then you’re probably thrilled about all of the information that is coming out today.
Let’s start with the cast for what is the sixth go-around of the franchise. LuAnn de Lesseps, despite being a part of the show since the very first season, is only around this time as a “friend of the Housewives.” Therefore, she will make a few appearances here and there, but not really have her own separate story. The cast for this season is Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill, Heather Thomson, and also new cast member Kristen Taekman, who runs her own greeting-card company.
Now, the premiere date. The show returns on Tuesday, March 11 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time, which to us means that Bravo is basically going to be filling the hole that will be left by “Shahs of Sunset.” The only interesting thing is that the show will not air on Sunday, which we feel like is the prime real estate for versions of this franchise since both the New Jersey and Atlanta installments both air on that day of the week.
Finally, we have the trailer below, which is basically just a series of out-of-context moments showing all of the madness that we are going to see unfold the rest of the way. There are some crises that will leave the ladies in tears, a visit to a dude ranch, lots of swimsuit-wearing, and also shouting matches. Unfortunately, there is not really anything in here that makes us sit back and think that we are on the cusp of seeing something totally revolutionary that we have never witnessed when it comes to the show.
What do you think about the trailer, and are you pumped for the new season? Let us know your thoughts.
