‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 4 spoilers: A Daniel Dae Kim flashback coming

The latest -On Friday’s new “Hawaii Five-0” episode, you are going to have an opportunity to see the return of Kono full-time to the team after being away for a very good chunk of this season. Doesn’t that sound like a joyous occasion to everyone else? It certainly does to us.

As to what is going to be coming up following that, though, you are going to have an opportunity to check out some more news about Daniel Dae Kim’s Chin, and a teenage version of Grace Park’s character to boot. The new episode airing on CBS come Friday, January 17 is going to be entitled “Hana lokomaika’i” (“The Favor”), and the synopsis below at least gives you a little bit more of an opportunity as to what to expect:

“Internal Affairs questions Chin about his father’s murder 15 years earlier and how his then-new relationship with Malia and her family might have hurt the investigation.”

The only way to describe this is that this could actually be one emotional episode. Any time that you are really touching back into the past of someone, there are some pretty delicate things that happen as a result. When you flash back to another time on the show, the one thing that you have to inevitably be nervous about is that in going back to the past, you always run the risk of learning a few things that you may wish you didn’t know. Let’s just hope that this does not happen here.
