‘American Horror Story: Coven’ spoilers: One last tease for Stevie Nicks episode

If you have been waiting for “American Horror Story: Coven” to arrive on the air, then get ready to celebrate now: The time for waiting is over! On Wednesday night, the first of two episodes featuring Fleetwood Mac legend  Stevie Nicks will begin airing, which also in turn means that the time for asking many great questions is here.

For example, what role is she going to play? We can start that off by saying that she is going to take on the challenging part of … herself. Given that Misty Day believes that Nicks is a witch in some shape or form, there is no better person to try to work some sort of magic with her on the show. As for what else Nicks will be doing, you have to assume almost right away that she will be singing given her profession. This is confirmed further by show co-creator Ryan Murphy on Twitter, who claimed that there will be a pair of songs that will be sung:

“Stevie Nicks is fantastic in this Wednesday’s COVEN episode. Guess which TWO SONGS she sings?”

If there really are musical numbers, then all we hope is that they somehow don’t leave the same sort of bad taste in our mouth like we had last year when Jessica Lange had that bizarre “American Horror Story: Asylum” song and dance number. We know that some people actually loved it, but we are not one of these said “some people.” It didn’t really make any sense outside of it being an opportunity to actually hear Jessica Lange sing.
