‘The Good Wife’ season 5, episode 12 preview: ‘We, the Juries,’ Bruce Springsteen, and drama

Next week’s episode of “The Good Wife” is going to be interesting for such a variety of reasons. First of all, you have the notion of a story that brings back Peter, and continues the drama related to him and Alicia in a way that we all saw coming.

Eventually, you knew that there was going to be another shoe that dropped when it came to Peter Florrick’s position as Governor, and that is going to start to unfold courtesy of a revelation from Eli. So how are the two going to handle it? That is something that we are excited to see moving forward through quite possibly the rest of season 5.

But what may be more interesting to some here is the music that is also going to be featured along the way in Bruce Springsteen. The legendary rocker’s music off of his new album “High Hopes.” The entire album will stream on CBS after it airs, which makes this the first time to date that a disc has debuted in some form on the network’s website.

In speaking out about this big news, executive producers Robert and Michelle King had the following to say in a statement:

“We love using music in THE GOOD WIFE, and we always have the music inform the action and the cutting. So when the Bruce Springsteen songs became available, we couldn’t believe our luck. We wished we could use the whole album.”
