‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 6, episode 10 review: Cynthia and Peter meltdown

When we last left the ladies of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” they were still on their Savannah trip and not much was really happening. For a season that started out so strong it has really been slowing down to a bore these past few episodes.

The Mynique story about Phaedra and Kandi once dating her husband Chuck is still going on. Chuck asks NeNe and Phaedra to come and help out with the boys and girls club through their old high school and he takes it as an opportunity to confront Phaedra over what she said to his wife in Savannah. She tries to explain her side of the story, saying that she told Mynique about her and him dating a few times, but Chuck says that they never dated… they were just friends with benefits and that she was just part of a group of women that he was hooking up with. As for Kandi, Chuck admits that he lied to her (romanced her) so he could just hook up with her too and that none of them mattered to him as anything more then a good time.

Cynthia’s sister Malorie has shown up and announced that she’s staying with her and Peter for the next two months now that they have moved past their fight, but when Cynthia tells Peter he’s not having it. He’s upset that Cynthia didn’t discuss Malorie staying with them for two months before agreeing to it, but she ends up staying at their home anyways. A week into Malorie staying at their house, the fighting gets out of control and Peter suggests that he get a little place of his own to escape to when he gets mad, something that Cynthia is not down with… really what wife wants their husband to have their own apartment outside of the marital home?

Porsha is ready to move out and has found a place… a completely gorgeous place! Not only that but she’s been in contact with Kordell and that he said that he didn’t exactly want the divorce. Porsha reveals that if she comes back it’ll be under specific terms and she doesn’t want that.

Kandi hasn’t spoken to her mom since the fight over Todd, but after a visit to the doctor Joyce has decided to talk to Kandi. Joyce is speaking a little cryptically about her health and we wonder how much of it is real and how much is part of an emotional game.

We were glad to see that the Savannah trip was over and that there was a little more going on this week then what we’ve gotten the past few episodes. Grade: C
