‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Are Oliver and Laurel actually working together again?

Here is a novel thought for many of you diehard “Arrow” fans: Actually having the opportunity to see Oliver and Laurel working together again. They were at odds most of the time when it came to the trial, just like they were at odds much of the time when it came to the status of the Arrow these days. But, all of that may be changing now courtesy of Sebastian Blood, and the secret threat that he poses to everyone in Starling City.

Following the winter premiere episode on January 15, the January 22 episode, entitled “Blind Spot,” focuses on these two characters, in addition to the start of what could be hitting rock bottom for Katie Cassidy’s character. Know that there are some spoilers below, so read on at your own risk:

“Oliver (Stephen Amell) is conflicted after Laurel (Katie Cassidy) reaches out to the Arrow asking him to investigate Sebastian Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). Oliver is unsure whether to believe her accusations against the man he has publically supported for mayor, but decides to trust Laurel. However, when the pair gets too close to the truth, Sebastian exposes Laurel’s drug addiction and has her arrested. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) reveals his new super-strength to Sin (guest star Bex Taylor-Klaus) who wants to test out his abilities. Unfortunately, Roy isn’t able to contain his rage once unleashed and almost kills a man. Back on the island, Oliver is surprised when Sarah (guest star Caity Lotz) reveals a secret about Laurel.”

We’re happy to see that Sin is still going to be around on the show for quite a while, mostly because Taylor-Klaus was excellent on “The Killing” and has not been given a chance here to show everything that she is capable of doing. Also, we’re excited to see that there is no character, even the Canary, that is being abandoned. Now, if only The CW could decide on what way to spell the name of Laurel’s sister (we’re going with Sara until clarified), we’ll be perfect.
