NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 3, episode 9 preview: First look at ‘Red Menace’

Have you been missing a little “Grimm” over the course of the holidays? Then you are probably going to be pretty happy with the news that come Friday night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern, the show is coming back on the air! The first episode back is entitled “Red Menace,” and it is one that is going to contain a little bit of everything that the show is known for. There are Wesen “healers,” issues at home, emotional breakdowns, and deep mythology.

In the sneak peek below, you can see Nick, Hank, and Monroe doing some “homework” on just what they are being forced to square off against. You can find out even more about it just by looking at the official synopsis below:

“Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) investigate a Wesen “healer” whose ability holds risks that far outweigh its rewards. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) takes in a friend when domestic issues escalate and Hank makes a move on his physical therapist Zuri (guest star Sharon Leal). Elsewhere, Captain Renard (Sasha Roiz) finally tracks down Adalind (Claire Coffee) and has a stern warning for her.”

The great thing about “Grimm” starting up with new episodes on Friday night? It marks a great opportunity for the show to really dive back into a story at a time when many networks are still holding off. Hopefully, this will allow for a chance to really get the ratings going strong, and it will keep some viewers around even when the night becomes much more competitive later on this month.
