‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: Some random Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks drama

If “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” were a sitcom, then there would probably be a heavy dose of laugh track over the sneak peek video. It can be basically summed up by Kenya Moore attempting to have some sort of heart-to-heart with Phaedra Parks, but the latter is not even remotely interested in what she has to say.

Phaedra is clearly over Kenya’s drama, mostly because she has way too much other stuff on her plate to really deal with anything that she has going on, (also we can’t forget about text-gate between Kenya and Phaedra’s husband Apollo). For example, there are cases for her to work on, a funeral business to run, and children to take care of. In the middle of this conversation, where you can see a very-annoyed Kenya continuing to push about her attempts to try to improve her relationship, you actually see Phaedra pull out a breast pump and try to occupy her time doing something else. Basically, she has told Kenya that she is the equivalent of having the TV on just for the sake of background noise.

The interesting thing about Kenya this season so far is that she really seems a little lost and without a real story to tell. Last year, there was the whole Walter fiasco, and her relationship with NeNe Leakes was somewhat different. Prior to this, the last major “highlight” that she had (if you can really call it that) was her whole to-do over proper bus etiquette on the way to Savannah. We understood her being annoyed that nobody was on time, but when you aren’t even the person responsible for organizing it, why are you the one who is so angry?
