‘Arrow’ season 2 video: Emily Bett Rickards talks Oliver – Felicity scenes, favorite villain
The folks over at “Arrow” are pretty smart when it comes to the way in which they promote the show. Even though there’s no new episode of the series airing until Wednesday, January 15, they have at least been kind enough to get some videos together to make the waiting period a little less painful.
The latest example of that? The clip below featuring Emily Bett Rickards and a chair that refuses to stay in one place throughout the two-minute run time. In this video, Rickards answers a series of fan questions about anything and everything, including who is her favorite villain on the show, what some of her top scenes have been over the courtesy of the series so far, and how many of the Green Arrow comics she has read since joining the show. Like many other characters on other shows who ended up being breakout characters (see Saul Goodman or Benjamin Linus), Rickards was originally booked for a small role, but one that ended up expanding after fans took a liking to the geeky lab technician and became the valuable third component to the team.
As for what you can see from Felicity moving forward on “Arrow” season 2, we suggest to be on the lookout for an evolved relationship with Oliver … even if it is not a completely romantic one. There have been changes that will show up now in the wake of Barry Allen’s departure; seeing her with someone else may have caused Stephen Amell’s character to have more thoughts on how he feels about her; but, whether or not he chooses to act on them is something very different.
What do you want to see the rest of the way, and do you think that the much-anticipated “Olicity” hookup is on the horizon? Let us know your thoughts below.

I want Olicity to happen so bad, but slowly of course. it needs it fair amount of slow burn moments that way it shows how much their relationship is growing and what they can do when they are actually together. It’ll be one heck of a long ride, but in the end it’ll be worth the wait, because they are endgame. I just know it.
