ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 11 video: The darkest Emily VanCamp – Josh Bowman scene yet?

While it may have been a little confusing at times thanks to ABC’s various midseason schedule reports, “Revenge” season 3 is going to be back come Sunday, January 5 with the first of three more episodes this season. These will lead the show into its substantial hiatus for the month of February, and it will return in early March in a new timeslot at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, following both “Once Upon a Time” as well as new series “Resurrection.”

Let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves here: We have important business to attend to first! For example, what in the world happens to Emily Thorne after waking up following the shooting? The video (via EW.com) below may be one of the darkest scenes that the show has ever done, as Josh Bowman and Emily VanCamp are forced into playing their characters in very different positions than what they have ever been in before. For example, we have Emily suffering from amnesia supposedly within the walls of a hospital, while Daniel questions what he should be doing, and if there is any sort of “right move” for him to make following shooting her.

There is still a massive elephant in the room here that the sneak peek does not really touch on: The possibility that this could all just be some sort of elaborate lie on Emily’s part to work her way back into the Grayson inner circle, making them believe that she could be manipulated. It’s almost crazy that someone like Daniel would be willing to fall for it, unless he is just so emotionally scarred and vulnerable following what he did that he is really just hunting for a chance to allow Emily back into his world again.
