‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: Margo Harshman’s Delilah comes back; plus, conflict
Some of the first details are coming out now about the upcoming return of “NCIS” on January 7, and this looks as though it is going to be an especially entertaining episode if you are a fan of the McGee character. After all, this is a nice opportunity to see more of him, his relationship with Delilah, and also a little bit of what happens when his relationship collides with his work life with his fellow members of the NCIS team.
In case you missed it previously, this episode is entitled “Kill Chain” and is going to involve to a certain extent Parsa, the returning villain of the season (even if he’s a guy who is pretty hard to pin down as a tangible character). The McGee story is a little bit more tangible at the moment, which makes it the much easier tale to talk about for the time being.
Read the full, extended synopsis for this episode below:
“When a stolen drone is linked to the elusive terrorist Parsa, the NCIS team partners with the Department of Defense, including Gibbs’ former girlfriend (returning character) Hollis Mann, to track down the device before it is used for a large scale attack. Meanwhile, McGee hesitates to ask for time off to attend a black-tie gala honoring his girlfriend.”
The fun that is in this episode is probably going to come mostly out of seeing McGee’s story, since the rest still seems to be pretty serious and more locked into something that could take the rest of the reason to work out. At least we’re getting set up to believe that there are some great things coming the rest of the season.

I hope so. Cote’s departure has really shaken things up a lot and not in a good way. I miss the banter between Ziva, Dinozzo and MaGee. Emily is handling the Bishop character well but I miss the kick ass factor of Ziva. If Cote doesn’t want to come back someone like Diane Neal as Agent Borin would be a good combo with Ellie and Abby. I have found the storylines much weaker this season but that could be part in fact that Cote didn’t give a whole lot of notice regarding her departure.and they’ve really had to scramble to get it together. I do hope the upcoming episode with Magee has a good twist to it. What I enjoyed in pasts seasons was the the storylines would have you thinking that a certain person was the guilty party and then there would be at least one if not two twists before the show ended revealing someone totally unexpected. I also hope bringing MaGee’s girlfriend into the picture will spice things up a bit.
