‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: News on a Lance family-centered episode

There’s very few ways to describe the Lance family on “Arrow” right now other than a mess. These are a group of people who we sincerely believe care about each other, but they are also carrying with them a pretty heavy amount of personal demons, secrets, and complications that come from one person in Quentin being a cop, and his daughter Laurel being an attorney who often chooses to see things even in more black-and-white terms than him.

If you do enjoy what the likes of what Katie Cassidy, Paul Blackthorne, and others bring to the show, the upcoming 14th episode of the season could be a major one for you to watch. This is the hour that will feature Alex Kingston making her return as Laurel’s mother Dinah, and she has quite a bit to talk with the family about. As it turns out, for example, Sara is still alive, Quentin’s been demoted, and Laurel has a new job and is seemingly going down a dark path.

Alluding to another show that executive producer Greg Berlanti has been a part of, “Arrow” showrunner Andrew Kreisberg recently teased a few more details about what could be coming up here as a part of a new interview with TVLine:

“Episode 14 is probably the most Brothers & Sisters episode we’ve done … Everyone in the Lance family has big secrets and it’s all going to get blown wide open, but in a good way.”

What does “a good way” even mean when it comes to this show? The biggest secret that we feel any of the non-Sara characters is hiding right now is Quentin regarding her being alive, but the show wouldn’t be so much fun if he kept it that way forever.
