‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 5, episode 12 preview: A Michelle Trachtenberg scene

Tonight on “NCIS: Los Angeles,” you are going to have more than just the average holiday episode; you are going to have one featuring a cult favorite actress in Michelle Trachtenberg. The former “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Gossip Girl” performer will be guest-starring on tonight’s episode, which reminds us that Christmas in Los Angeles is a little bit different than most other places.

In case you missed some of our initial reports on the subject, Trachtenberg is going to play a private chef and environmental activist who has to try and stay strong despite much of the world crumbling around her. Based on the sneak peek video alongside Sam and Callen below, the actress seems to be in need of Sam and Callen’s protection to a certain extent given that the sudden reappearance of her father has led to some major complications in her life. She doesn’t have much information herself as to what is going on, at least other than the fact that she could be in some sort of danger.

This will mark the last installment of “NCIS: Los Angeles” this year, though you are going to have many more opportunities to see Sam and Callen’s adventures in the new year. This is, after all, merely the halfway point in a long season, and there is quite a bit of story left to tell. As for what sort of stories that we could see, you may have to wait until after this episode before you start to full find out.
