‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3, episode 11 preview: Is there a way to stop the curse?
On Sunday night, “Once Upon a Time” will finally have an opportunity to answer the big question: Is there any way at all that Peter Pan can be stopped? This “villain of the season” has come up with quite the elaborate plan for himself to be victorious over just about everyone else, and this involves him basically doing a more elaborate version of what Regina has already done: Enacting a curse on all of Storybrooke, and then forcing them to suffer.
Whether or not Pan actually intends to kill all of the other characters is a debate that has been worth having, mostly because so far the picture there is rather unclear. But what we know at least for now is that he is going to have a hard time being stopped. As a matter of fact, only one person can do it: The person who wrote the curse out in the first place in Regina.
In the sneak peek video below, you can see Mr. Gold informing the once Evil Queen of what she could be capable of doing now, but knowing that she is the one who can stop the curse and actually doing it are two very different things. She also has to figure out a way to actually do it that will keep everyone safe, and in a short amount of time. The odds are somewhat stacked against her here, but if there is one thing that “Once Upon a Time” has continually shown us time and time again, it is that our heroes always seem to somewhat win in the end. The only wrinkle in that is that their victory celebration is somewhat marred by another struggle, and a story that will come next and dominate the next 11 or so episodes. This is what “Going Home” will eventually bleed into … maybe. It’s also possible that the show could actually give everyone a brief happy ending, and then force them later to figure out what comes next.
We’ll have more news tomorrow on the “Once Upon a Time” winter finale at this link, including a full review after it airs.
