‘Glee’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Adam Lambert returns; a ‘What Does the Fox Say?’ cover
After an episode of “Glee” that was the best of the post-“The Quarterback” era, we are now moving forward with an hour entitled “Puppet Master” that is probably not going to contain too much that pushes forward the overall story. Why is that? The simple answer is that for some insane reason, Fox has decided to air an episode on Thanksgiving. This is a risky move given that many people will probably go to bed at 9:00 p.m. Eastern in order to prepare for Black Friday; but if you are a fan of Adam Lambert or Demi Lovato, this could be worth staying up for.
Both Starchild and Dani are going to return in order to take part in the band’s first gig, which is apparently going to only be for one person (sad, but probably accurate). Meanwhile, there is also apparently going to be some sort of cover for “What Does the Fox Say,” which is strangely the sort of thing that still has some life left in it. While not much else is revealed just yet, we do at least have a funny line in the promo below regarding a puppet of Kurt Hummel and what Blaine is choosing to do with it.
Luckily, the synopsis should at least give you a few more details about the overall story, even if the promo itself is a little more in the way of vague:
“Blaine believes he has the best plan to win Nationals, but he doesn’t take the glee club’s criticism too well when the students accuse him of being too controlling. Over in New York, Kurt also runs into control issues when the band disagrees over the venue of their first official gig that Kurt booked. Meanwhile, Sue reveals the story behind her iconic tracksuit and gets in touch with her feminine side.”

Where did Adam Lambert come from? Amazing performance and I’m a harsh critic. What a voice and so fun to watch.
PS Someone needs to tell that Miley girl to keep her tongue in her mouth where it belongs. No one wants to see her try and clean her eyebrows with her tongue. Was she was born in a barn or something? GROSS

I’m borderline obsessed with Adams talent! I sometimes feel like I’m his only fan! Every time is post anything about him on my fb page I hear crickets!! I feel he’s the most UNDERRATED artist ever!!! I’m a 46 year old female married 28 years and have 6 grandsons! Adam is fun and creative.. Why don’t ppl see it!? But they put other artist (who I won’t name) out there any chance they get and on award shows.. And these ppl ( girls) can kiss each other or twerk and hump the strange and it’s OKAY!! But adam lambert does it ONE TIME and he’s doomed! All I can say is its a double standard and he gets the shaft every time!! So happy he is on glee!! Hopefully this exposure will open ppls eyes to his true talent!! Happy thanksgiving to my “glamily”!!

I’m not ‘borderline’ on this guy, I’m hooked! I’d never heard of him until I saw him on Glee and while I’m a huge Gleek, I watch Glee because Darren Criss is like the equivalent of watching Frank Sinatra in his hey day (I’m a big fan of Sinatra; they both have that chemistry that draws you in), and he’s so darn talented & when I’m watching Criss sing and dance (and great comedic timing), he always makes me smile no matter what other crappy stuff is going on in my life. Like you, I do not fit in the targeted demographic audience for Glee (I’m 53 yrs old). So this Lambert guy? OMG! That voice, his performance of ‘Marry the Night’ was easily the best performance I’ve seen this season. I would even go so far as to say Lamberts performance was one of the best performances on Glee. Ever. I was glued to watching his rendition of that song, where did this guy come from? Maybe people like you & I see talent like this Lambert has and aren’t embarrassed to admit it. Were not taking any risks of being mocked by friends and family for calling it like we see it. In other words, were old. Ok, older, than the average Glee fans! Who cares what us ‘old’ people think., so were freer to speak w/o fear of reprisal or bullying. I don’t know, but I did start looking for interviews with Lambert and now I’m worried. The way he explained that performance was that he was supposed to “go all out/over the top” in his audition for ‘Kurt’s” band. But they want him to ‘tone it down’. I hope they don’t tone him down, because that’s what made him so exciting to watch. What a performance, I’m still listening to the song on itunes (almost 200 times now, LOVE IT) & have watched his performance over and over. Your so right, he’s fun and creative, but he’s also dam talented. Glee should sign him on as a full cast member; unless they tone him down. If they, what a waste. So much fun! More Theatrical Lambert Please!!!

I can’t wait for another episode with Adam. He is fabulous. I won’t be able to watch the episode on Thanksgiving night, but I will tape it and watch it over and over again. Doesn’t that count for viewership? I heard if people watch their DVRs within 3 days it counts as viewers.
