‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4 spoilers: Ashley Benson’s Hanna hatches plan in winter premiere
What is coming up on “Pretty Little Liars”? With “Ravenswood” now through with its fall run on ABC Family, the network can start to actually tease a little bit more of the story that will be happening on the flagship show once again … but we already have some questions. Are those who didn’t watch the spin-off going to feel less-informed about what is happening here now? While we feel like this episode on Janaury 7 (which is paired with the return of “Ravenswood”) will spell some of that out, it will have a hard time doing so on the same level that viewers of both series are probably going to feel.
The title “Who’s int he Box?” sounds like some sort of demented game, but as an episode title, it actually makes a whole lot of sense when you consider what is going on. Just take a look at the full synopsis below:
“Armed with the knowledge that Alison is alive, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer have more questions now than ever before in an all-new episode of ‘Pretty Little Liars,’ entitled ‘Who’s In The Box?,’ airing Tuesday, January 7 (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT). Trying to put the pieces together Hanna comes up with the idea that if they find out who is really buried in Ali’s grave it may lead to much needed answers. But as the girls search, Emily has trouble dealing with how she feels about Alison being alive. Meanwhile, Caleb returns to Rosewood, and Ezra has clandestine meetings with Mona and Aria.”
The idea of who is actually buried is interesting, especially considering that we seemingly know that there is someone in there, and there is also something else that we imagine Emily struggling with that is not mentioned here: What happened on that infamous night earlier on in the series. That story had something to do with Ali’s grave, so what was she really up to … and who was really taking advantage of her?
