‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: An Adam Lambert – Chris Colfer duet coming?
While it may not be “official” yet, we can now say with some certainty that there are going to be at least three episodes of “Glee” season 5 to feature Adam Lambert’s character of Elliott “Starchild” Gilbert, and it of course could end up being more than that depending on what the producers decide to do.
The next confirmed appearance from Adam is going to come during the Thanksgiving Day episode “Puppet Master,” as he and the rest of the gang are going to have puppet versions of themselves created for the occasion. Following that, we have an episode called “Frenemies” … though it could be quite a while before we ultimately see this episode air. If “Previously Unaired Christmas” is the last of the fall, and the show does tend to end with Christmas episodes, it could be the spring before it comes back for more.
As for what Adam will be performing in the episode, the reliable folks over at Gleek Out Brazil project it to be a version of “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” by the Darkness … which is all sorts of awesome, mostly because Colfer and Lambert may be two of the only guys out there (save for the band) who are capable of hitting some of the high notes in the song. Granted, we are a little more curious about the context of this song, since it is sort-of romantic in a strange way. Given everything that has gone on with Kurt and Blaine already, we don’t really expect it to be romantic in any way. However, we would not be too shocked if it was some sort of “see? We’re trying to get along” song. We have heard already that the conflict that these two characters have with each other is not something that is going to go away quietly into the night; these are problems that are going to carry over moving into the rest of Adam’s time on the show, and that will be fairly interesting to watch unfold.
What do you think about the song choice, and how many appearances on “Glee” do you want to see from Adam? Share some of your thoughts below, and click here if you want to hear one of the most-controversial songs to be covered in tonight’s episode.

What I don’t understand is why the US shows have such a hard time ‘Growing up’ their characters, It never seems to be a problem here in the UK. The Harry Potter series managed it, and we have several long running TV series and soaps where the characters have been there since they were kids and now have kids of their own. Why do Americans feel the need to keep kids as kids and not adults? Miley Cyrus being a prime example.
I think people need to let Kurt and Blane grow up properly before they get married to anyone. Kurt is just out of High School, Blaine is still in High school, neither of them is experienced enough to know if they are doing the right thing getting married anyway. It may seem all romantic having the engagement before Kurt left but all that shows is Blanes insecurity about him moving away. Let them live a bit and experience life before settling down

Adam lights up Glee,I would like him in a recurring role ,until Glee goes off TV for good. Adam’s voice ,acting skills and charisma ,have given the show new life and new excitement.

The school segments with the principal and the teacher are awful, terrible, boring, I’m sick of it. The New York part is fun and interesting. Looking forward to the band performing.

Actually, I’ll be happy with Adam reading the menu at the faux diner Kurt works at – over and over again. I got lost during the High School scenes and I do believe the kids need to graduate or just drop out (just be done with it already) and move into NY. Adam could be in.every.scene.in.every.episode. Or they can have Glee 2.0 with Adam and the others trying to out-sing each other for various reasons. Whatever… just bring Adam back. Otherwise it’s not worth the DVR space.

Matt: Adam said in an interview that he is on a HANDFUL of episodes this season so at least 4 or 5 more. But Ryan may decide to work some more in as Adam is amazingly popular already based on tweets and YT comments on his cover of MTN. I would love to see him on every episode but know that’s not feasible as he has other obligations i e. working on own music, gigs and possibly a Queen tour. He’s also busy with charity events and his own concerts. I just hope the Lima part of show is phased out. the story line at HS is boring and unrealistic. Need more camera time for NYC cast.

Song choice is great. Would like more Adam and more New York segments. High school segments are getting dull. Most new characters on the high school segments are not very interesting and very forgettable except for 1 or 2 of them.
