‘New Girl’ season 3 spoilers: Jamie Lee Curtis, Angela Kinsey, Rob Reiner to return

More news -Before you dive in to enjoy tonight’s all-new episode of “New Girl” season 3, why not pick up a few details on some stories coming up a little bit down the road? The producers behind the Fox hit have some great stuff in store the rest of the season, and this could include throwing Zooey Deschanel’s character of Jess a heck of a birthday celebration.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jamie Lee Curtis and Rob Reiner are each going to be returning for this episode as Jess’ oddball parents, who she made an attempt to get back together a la “The Parent Trap” in a new episode that aired on Fox last November. This time around, they will be back to help presumably celebrate the big occasion … and they may not be alone.

In addition to the appearances from Reiner and Curtis, Angela Kinsey is also going to be stopping by once again in the role of Jess’ snotty co-worker, who put a ton of pressure on her the last time they hung out to misbehave and do crazy things. (The basic way to describe her was Angela on “The Office” + a generous amount of acid.)

Finally, the site confirms that former “Bridesmaids” actor Ben Falcone is going to be guest-starring in a role of a man who is going to be spending some time working alongside Cece at a job. There is not too much else known about him just yet, so don’t start to take this as some sort of evidence that he’ll be a love interest. By and large, we presume that Jess’ big day is going to be what takes precedence above all else when it comes to this episode.

“New Girl” remains a beast on Fox for Tuesday night, and we know that they are going to do everything in their power to prepare for their Super Bowl episode. But what is the story for it? While this almost seems perfect given the guest cast, that is not confirmed.
