ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: First look at Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, a baby

We know already that next week’s “Castle” season 6 episode is going to be one that really gives you some insight into Tamala Jones’ character of Lanie (and it’s about darn time, considering how long the show has made us wait already), but the one that follows in on November 25 will be bringing something entirely different to the table. We’re talking here about “The Good, the Bad, and the Baby,” an hour that is going to be in one way fun, but in one way also completely sentimental.

As you can read in the official synopsis here, the story of the hour is going to revolve around Castle and Beckett discovering a child that was left at a church, and their attempts to care for them while also solving a case at the same time. If you thought that they had enough on their plate already just as a crime-solving duo / engaged couple, this addition is going to make things much more interesting. It’s been well over a decade since Nathan Fillion’s character had to deal with a baby, and Stana Katic’s gumshoe has never been in that sort of situation on the show.

It’s a good thing that Rick looks reasonably happy caring for this kid now, since we know that by the time that this hour comes to a close, we should have a little bit more clarity as to what he and his fiancee are going to do in the future in regards to kids. Given that Castle already has a full-grown child at this point in Alexis who has already moved out of the house, he may feel like he is completely beyond that part of his life and is ready to move forward. However, Beckett hasn’t gone through any of these experiences, and it could be a point of tension.

We don’t know how else to say that this is a must-watch if you are a longtime fan of the show. Just check it out, and prepare for some of the most important information to drop here that you have seen on the show in at least several weeks.
