ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 6 spoilers: Nathan Fillion, Stana Katic, and a surprising title

Castle and Beckett -What in the world is a baby doing in the world of “Castle” season 6? That is going to be the question you find yourself asking after hearing about the latest title for an upcoming season 6 episode of the show.

According to a new report from SpoilerTV, the name for the upcoming tenth episode of the season (which is likely either going to air right before Christmas or immediately after it in the new year) is going to be titled “The Good, the Bad, & the Baby.” So what in the world does this mean? Are Castle and Beckett going to think about becoming parents before they even get married? Really, we see there being three possible theories to what is going on here with this name:

1. The most obvious one is that we’re looking at the birth of Detective Ryan’s child, since that has been a story ever since the pregnancy was first announced for his wife in the spring. The “good” and the “bad,” meanwhile, could be somehow focusing on a case.

2. Is it possible that Castle and Beckett could thinking about being the parents? The tricky thing here is that while Nathan Fillion’s character is already a dad, Stana Katic’s character is not a mother yet. They at least have to have the conversation if nothing else, and maybe this will be a part of their story.

3. Maybe we can have a little bit of both! Imagine the thought of Ryan becoming a father, and then Castle and Beckett having to take care of the kid after some sort of freak event forces the new parents to be away temporarily. Then, maybe our principal couple starts to think about their own future. If this plays out like some sort of cheesy romantic comedy, we’d actually be okay with that. Anything that gives our favorite sleuths some new ground to explore!

There will be some other themed cases coming up soon, including one inspired by government conspiracies.
