‘The X Factor’: Simon Cowell on news for Fifth Harmony, Emblem3, James Arthur, and more
Today is turning out to be quite the day for “The X Factor,” isn’t it? The contestants were chosen at the judges’ houses on the British version of the show this evening, and now the show is preparing to move into what is going to be the live rounds next weekend. Will any of them become the next James Arthur or One Direction? Time will most certainly tell, but since we are still so early in the process there really isn’t anyone that stands out as a super star.
For now, though, we are here to talk about some of the acts who have shown themselves to be quite successful following their time on the show. Simon Cowell went on a Twitter posting spree today, and it included some of the following tidbits pertaining to some of your favorite acts that have come out of both the American and UK versions of “The X Factor”. Here’s what he revealed:
-“Hi. The new one d video is amazing.”
-“Have just chosen the next fifth harmony single. Can you guess what it is?”
-“Just signed off on the new emblem3 video for 3000 miles. It’s great.”
-“James Arthur first single is a smash. This guy can really sing.”
-“Love the new little mix single.”
Of all of this news, the One Direction video is probably the one that will create the biggest impact around the globe, but with that being said, we imagine that everyone else on this list has their fare share of fans. Arthur’s going to have a huge hit in “You’re Nobody Til Somebody Loves You,” and Little Mix’s “Move” is a song that will likely be the type of hit that may actually be bigger than anything that they put on their first album after winning the show.
Do you want to check out some more scoop pertaining to “The X Factor”? We’ve got all of it for you here, including some big news that could change the dynamic somewhat for the British show this week. Take a look here, and we’ll have some more scoop soon.

wow. must be expensive promoting a girl group in America. especially with 5 members. I was surprised to hear that 5th Harmony was releasing an ep instead of an album. When will record companies realise that girl groups do not sell in the U.S.? I mean at least in the U.K. Little Mix is very big. and not to mention they are loads more popular than 5th Harmony in the states.

Actually Fifth Harmony is on par, if not more popular than Little Mix in the states.

Ha! that’s hilarious Little Mix is barely know in the states. The only one known is Perrie and that’s because she’s going out with Zayn otherwise they would be struggling big time. As for girl groups not selling well in the states um haven’t you heard of TLC, Destiny’s Child, or Danity Kane?
