‘NCIS’ season 11, episode 1 preview: See Pauley Perrette, Mark Harmon in new sneak peek

Want to take an extended look at the “NCIS” season 11 premiere? While this may not provide any answers for you as to what happens to Ziva, it’s a nice little slice of the Gibbs / Abby storyline that looks at what is going to happen when it comes to Colin Hanks’ character of Richard Parsons.

When Abby first sees Parsons enter her neck off the woods in the sneak peek below, she understandably starts to freak out a little bit at the sight of him. She’s got some good reasons to be uncomfortable around him, and there is also the ever-so-simple fact that she finds the man to be incredibly creepy.

Is there anything that can change the mind of Pauley Perttette’s character? It sure seems like it, and it goes by the name of Gibbs. He tells her that it would take something like Parsons saving his life to make him feel a little bit more comfortable around him, and this is what he argues that the character has done for him. So maybe this makes Abby breathe a little bit easier … for now. We’re sure that this story still has plenty of twists and turns left in it, based on everything that we saw in the finale last May.

Expectations are going to be very high for the start of “NCIS” this year, and for plenty of good reasons. Not only do they have to resolve the story of Ziva, but they have to find a way to progress forward with something that will still interest longtime fans certainly upset over the change. We already know who could end up playing her successor, but you will not see her on the show until a little bit later in the fall.
