‘Criminal Minds’ season 9 spoilers: More details on ‘The Return’

Just think: In the matter of a week and a half, there will no longer be a need to tease little random things about “Criminal Minds” season 9. Instead, we will just have the capacity to talk about what is actually happening on the episodes themselves! The fan favorite will be around for some more cases, but what we have to talk about today is actually something that is going to be coming up a little while down the road.

According to a report from SpoilerTV, the eighth episode of this season is going to be entitled “The Return,” and the focus / Unsub for it is going to be on a former Marine and officer in the Chicago Police Department who abducts children who are already at risk.

As for trying to figure out what in the world the motivation could be for something this twisted, that is going to be up to the men and women trying to solve the case. What we can at least say from the outside is that if you enjoy what the show has done over almost the past decade, you’re going to be happy once again. While there are going to be some flashback episodes that pop up here and there this year, “Criminal Minds” is not really looking here to reinvent the wheel. Instead, they are more or less trying to just showcase that what they do, they do rather well, and that includes taking down some interesting / very dangerous people.
