‘Royal Pains’ finale spoilers: Is Hank about to lose his job?

We’re now here with the first promo for the “Royal Pains” season finale, which does beg a very important question upon watching it: Are we really about see HankMed fall apart? While the past few episodes have certainly navigated us in that direction, the question about whether or not Hamptons Heritage could fire him over the prescription drug fiasco is going to be looming very large. It would also be a case of him paying the piper after the fact, given that he has already stopped taking the medication now that he realizes just what was wrong with him. But at the end of the day, that’s his fault for not seeking out help sooner.

This is one of the problems with HankMed going in with the hospital; it may have been the right move for business, but it was definitely the wrong move for a guy not following the rules.

The first promo below also teases a moment that we discussed following the finale, which is some sort of serious problem for Divya’s pregnancy. It would clearly bring the show back to the status quo if she suffers some sort of miscarriage, but it would also be incredibly sad to have her go through this sort of emotional agony after finally getting used to being a mom for the first time.

Now, we circle back to the question we still want an answer to: Is Dr. Sacani gone from the show for good? The last thing that we want to see right now is the thought of Jeremiah leaving the show after feeling like Hank used him, only to then make the past two seasons completely irrelevant when it comes to his Divya storyline that we’ve invested in.

Hopefully, we’ll have some answers next week, and the good news is that the show has already been renewed, and there is no reason to worry about the future.
