‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9 spoilers: Josh Radnor time-jumping and more

Before we get too deep into this “How I Met Your Mother” season 9 article, let’s start here with a humble show of hands: How many people out there have watched the closing minute of the season 8 finale on more than one occasion? Don’t worry; you’re among friends. For those who have been sitting around and waiting for years, this was the sun coming down and the flowers doing a little dance. It was a very happy day.

Now that we know who Cristin Milioti is, and that her character and Ted will have that great meeting at some point before the end of the series’ run, we also know now that there is going to be a great ending coming our way eventually. This is something that Josh Radnor seems especially thrilled about in a chat with E! News; after all, just remember that however invested we are in his character, he probably is a million times more so then us:

“I feel like I’m walking side-by-side with Ted on his journey … I’m glad that he lands on his feet and that he finds himself a great girl.”

Radnor also talks in the video about an injury that was noticeable while at Comic-Con this weekend, which was hilariously caused by something that Ted Mosby would probably have happen to him in real life: An accident revolving around plugging in a hybrid car. Who knew that preserving Mother Nature could be so dangerous? Next thing you know, one of Ted’s own architectural designs will pop off the page and start smacking him across the face.
