ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 3 spoilers: Photos of the first day back!

What’s better than hearing the news about “Scandal” returning? Actually seeing some photographic proof of it happening! These photos are one of the reasons we mentioned as to why you should care about the start of filming, since these really are the closest thing that you’re going to get right about now to seeing some actual content from the show.

First, we give you this picture of Katie Lowes, posted by her co-star in Darby Stanchfield on Twitter.  This is how focused and intense you are supposed to look while dealing with a phone conversation. If anyone reaches Olivia Pope & Associates, you have to assume that it is going to be trouble; if it is a telemarketer, meanwhile, it is probably going to be trouble for them. (Quinn has been in training for something…)

As for photo #2, this one is ironically of Stanchfield and Guillermo Diaz, and was posted by Lowes on her account. We like to think of this as evidence that Huck and Abby are really hard at work on solving their clients’ latest crisis … or they are just trying to take a little bit of a break on set. Either way, aren’t you thrilled that the Gladiators are back together again? It’s a welcome reunion for people who actually seem to like each other, and we say this without the typical “of course they do” cynicism that you typically get when it comes to TV.
