‘The Walking Dead’ season 4 spoilers: The invasion of guest stars continues

“The Walking Dead” is intense, violent, and based on everything that we are seeing now, it also employs people like nobody’s business. If there is one major benefit that you get from killing people off, it is getting the opportunity to have a lot of new people appear. Hooray employment! The City of Atlanta must be so pleased.

The following three characters being cast, per SpoilerTV, are all recurring, but to us that only means that they appear in two episodes at least before a zombie starts to chew on their flesh. These lucky / not-so-lucky characters include…

1. John Tyler – Isn’t he a former President of the United States? Tippecanoe and Tyler, too? It turns out that this John Tyler is in his early 30’s and could give Merle a run for his money when it comes to being nasty to people. The silver lining is that he also has some wisdom lying underneath the tough exterior, if you can crack it.

2. Wayne Kesey – The fact that “an experienced liar” is used in the description is probably not a good sign for anyone he runs into. His name, sadly, is not of a former President.

3. Jordana Barraza – A Hispanic woman in her late 20’s, described as beautiful but with a rather unfortunate past that she is none too proud of. Our thoughts are either “addict” or “criminal,” just based on the simple notion that unless you did something really terrible, you don’t have much time to be embarrassed over your past during a zombie apocalypse.

“The Walking Dead” returns to AMC on October 13, which is still two and a half months away. (Sigh.) The wait probably feels even worse given that Comic-Con just ended, and it included a first look at the new season. Want to see highlights on this and more?
