‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Stephen Amell, cast ready to start production

ArrowMonday’s definitely a big day for the “Arrow” community: Oliver Queen’s got the hood strapped back on (at least metaphorically), and he is ready to get out and try to stop some more evil-doers within Starling City. That’s right: Today is the official start of season 2 filming!

For anyone who has suffered over the past several months missing this show, this is great news in that we will start to have more scoop coming in from the set, including castings, plot details, episode titles, and more welcome news that we have been waiting so long to hear.

This news has even turned out to be a big deal for some people who are not even on the show anymore; just check out the super-gracious message that former star Colin Donnell (Tommy) shared in a most on Twitter:

“A big break a leg to all the #Arrow family as they start Season 2 today! @amellywood @ColtonLHaynes @EmilyBett @JamesBamford @ARROWwriters”

Going into last season’s finale, it is not much of an understatement at all to sit here and say that most people expected to still see Tommy on the show, especially given the story that was written in the comics. However, this move does serve as some sort of proof that the producers are really not afraid in the slightest to stir things up a little bit, and present some shockers that we would not otherwise see coming.

Are you thrilled to hear this news? If you want to check out some more news related to the “Arrow” world, all you have to do is check out the story over at the link here.

For those of you who have not heard the news yet as to a premiere date, “Arrow” season 2 will be back in action on The CW Wednesday, October 9 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern.
