‘Supernatural’ season 9 spoilers: Confirmation on ‘Devil May Care’

SupernaturalFor diehard “Supernatural” fans, there has been some pretty fervent speculation for a little while now when it comes to one key subject: Episode titles. Is “Devil May Care” going to be the name of the premiere? It was originally reported as such, but this was later shot down by some other production sources.

However, we now have some information on the subject courtesy of co-executive producer Jim Michaels: This episode will be 9×02 when it airs on The CW, and thus will not premiere until Tuesday, October 22. This is also the episode that Guy Bee will be directing, which you may have heard about over the past few days.

Much of the confusion about the episode titles has been brought on over the past few days by the news that the show is taping some of their early episodes out of order, which they have done a number of times in the past, as well, due to a myriad of reasons from guest-star availability to locations to budget or other factors. The important thing is always that the episodes air in order, and “Supernatural” has never had a problem with that.

We’re just excited now that after over a month of waiting, we’re now entering that sweet spot where there will be fairly consistent new information coming out on the show, of course culminating in a Comic-Con panel that should be pretty epic.

Do you still like “Devil May Care” as a title, regardless of when we see this episode ultimately airing? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! If you are interested in checking out some more of the latest news related to the CW series, just be sure to head on over to the link here.
