CastleJust in case the idea of finding out about a potential replacement for Beckett and a love interest for Alexis was not enough to tickle your “Castle” fancy, we now have the following news to report: Some other characters that are going to appear in the upcoming season 6 premiere.

According to SpoilerTV, we are really going to have a motley crew of new faces showing up, including a new detective. Matt Hendricks is a character who will appear in a two-episode story arc, and is described as someone who will be young, efficient, and very interested in getting ahead.

The other casting scoops are a little bit for vague: You have a military man named Frank Bronson and his girlfriend, a tech agent named Richmond, and then a blonde, Eastern European woman who is being held hostage by a man. We are sure that most of this will have somewhat to do with whatever the primary storyline is for this episode, which should also answer the all-important question about whether or not Beckett is really taking off to Washington DC, or if she will get engaged to Rick and continue living out her life in New York City. The two are not mutually exclusive, so she could say “yes” to the proposal and still decide that she will be better off diving in and trying what could be an exciting new phase of her life … or at least giving it a shot for a little while to see what happens.

What do you think about this “Castle” casting news? If you want to read some more scoop about this boyfriend for Alexis, and how he could end up becoming a major adversary for Rick, our advice is for you to head on over to the link here.
