‘American Idol’ notes: Adam Lambert, Jessica Sanchez, and Kelly Clarkson’s TLC gig
There’s a lot to dive into today when it comes to “American Idol”, but we’ll start with the reaction coming in regarding the breaking news regarding DOMA and the Supreme Court today, something that represents a huge step forward for marriage equality as couples who marry in states where gay marriage is legal will now be treated effectively the same by the federal government as heterosexual couples.
We’re not normally a big fan of any “celebrities react” stories since they mostly just feel like exploitation of irrelevant thoughts, but there is a certain amount of relevance in this case when you remember how hard some of these singers have fought to support the cause over the past several months and years.
Kelly Clarkson – “Yeah, marriage equality!!!! On our way! #PeopleLikeUs #TieItUp”
Jessica Sanchez, who posted the following lyrics – “”We can’t care what they approve of, can’t let them tell us who to love” #MarriageEquality”
Adam Lambert – “Down w DOMA! Something to be very proud of this upcoming July 4th. We are making beautiful progress for Equality! #proud”
As a bonus Adam-related note, he’s featured in the music video here for Bonnie McKee’s “American Girl” along with a host of other stars including Carly Rae Jepsen and Jane Lynch. These three artists all have some great things coming up, and for Adam, there are still those pesky rumors about him being a judge on the Fox series next year. If you want it to happen, let’s hope you have your fingers crossed.

why? giving special rights to a tiny percentage of the population to re-define what has been reality for thousands of years of human civilization? The liberals have gone too far. it is time to take the country back before the morality has been completely destroyed.

What a disgusting day in America. Obama stuffing the court with radical progressive liberals has taken society into a very dangerous direction. This will be undone once the court is again balanced, or when it is realized that radical leftist Justice Elena Kagan should have recused herself since she is a lesbian.
Perversions are not “civil rights”, and this opens to door to other perversions such as polygamy being legalized.
Draw the line where God drew it. The Supreme court ruling that God made a mistake when making genders is way out of line and offensive to society.
These Artists are no longer allowed to voice anything other than hard-left propaganda. Voicing anything that is not liberal viewpoint means the end of your career in Hollywood. You are blacklisted and intimidated.

Perhaps you should reread the parts where god talks about love and not judging others etc.

Love is not defined by doing perverted acts in orifices that were never designed for such things. Stop accusing God of making a mistake when he assigned genders. It is offensive.
