‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: Addressing Mulan, Aurora, and Phillip

While “Once Upon a Time” season 3 may have a number of their key actors locked in for some time, there is also an interesting dilemma when it comes to a trio of their characters still locked within the present-day Fairytale World: Aurora, Mulan, and Phillip. We know that Neal landed in this world after being shipped off there with a gunshot wound in the finale, so this setting will at least play some sort of role moving forward.

As for how much of one … that’s still up for debate. You may know already that both Jamie Chung and Sarah Bolger have roles on two different series for the upcoming TV season, but the good news is that both series (in “Believe” and “Mixology”) do not actually start airing until mid-season. According to TVLine, this in part means that “Once Upon a Time” could have a tiny bit of time to wrap up some stories on this show. Plus, you already know that Julian Morris is a recurring player on “Pretty Little Liars.”

While we’d like to assume that Neal finds his way out of this world eventually and back to Emma, his father Mr. Gold, and his son Henry, we cannot confirm that it’s going to happen next season; however, we can at least tell you that there will be some storytelling here geared around the issue of the wraith that we saw put Phillip in a world of dreams early on during season 2. (Aren’t you glad to finally be getting answers to that, even if it took a while?)
