‘Breaking Bad’ season 5: Check out a smoky poster for the final eight episodes

Breaking Bad“Breaking Bad” fans surely know a thing or two about patience at this point. There are the people, after all, who have waited nearly a full year already to watch the last eight episodes, and this is after enduring some of the most terrible hiatuses in the history of television. You can say all sorts of things about the show’s supporters, but they are definitely persistent and will do just about anything to keep the conversation going about what has become a global phenomenon.

The latest poster released by AMC should help to keep the “how should it all end” discussions going for a while longer. As you can see in the picture below (click to enlarge) we have a promise that “all bad things must come to an end.” It’s an ominous sign, and the minimalist nature of the image proves that the show does not even need to say its full name anymore for viewers to know what it’s talking about.

Breaking BadClearly, to us the most terrifying part of this poster is the smoke pattern, which looks almost like it is making an outline of a Hanna-Barbara monster. To us, this is meant to represent some sort of evil that is coming, and something that will bring definitive closure. What is it? We don’t quite know, but given that Vince Gilligan and the rest of the cast have promised that we are really not looking at much of a happy ending for Walter White, it probably means very, very bad things are coming.

What’s your take on the “Breaking Bad” poster? What do you think is going to happen to Walter and Jesse? We want to hear your thoughts below! Also, be sure to click on the link here if you want to hear a pretty hilarious explanation on what the series finale could be courtesy of Conan O’Brien.
