MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 3 spoilers: A student council catastrophe

Student council is a time-honored tradition among the high school world. While these young people do not often accomplish much (and we say this as a former student council member), it is important to instill that feeling of competition into the hearts and minds of many young people.

With this in mind, you really shouldn’t be too surprised at all to see that MTV’s “Awkward” is entering the world of complicated student elections. According to a new report from E! News, there is a lengthy storyline coming up on the show that involves an election taking place, and a freshman is going to have a particularly hard time when they try to run for treasurer against a wily upperclassman. At the moment, we’re not entirely sure just what this means, but our easy guess is just that we are going to see someone in serious jeopardy of making it through this election without embarrassment.

So who would we personally like to see running for this position? Just for the sake if irony, it would probably be the most hilarious were we to see Sadie run for this position, mostly because of the situation that she is going through in her home life right now. However, we also have to admit that there would be a certain level of comedy that comes out of seeing someone like Tamara try to freak out her way through an election, or even Jenna finding a way to make running for office so much more difficult than it really needs to be.
