MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 3 spoilers: What’s next for Matty and Jenna?

On this past Tuesday night’s new episode of “Awkward” season 3, it looked as though we were finally starting to reach a point where there would be substantially less conflict when it comes to Jenna and Matty. The two had finally had “the talk” about their relationship, and agreed to be more open and honest with each other.

However, it seems as though there is much more trouble ahead for the two on next week’s episode, and this time it is due to a pair of people who are constantly watching out for each of them: their parents. Somehow, the word spread from Jenna’s parents to Matty’s that the two are sleeping together, which sets up the uncomfortable confrontation for the ages. While the preview below only gives us a taste of it, we imagine the fight going something like this: Matty’s parents force him to apologize to Jenna’s parents for what he’s done, and the group collectively tries to come up with a solution for it. We can really best define this whole ordeal with one word: ew.

Meanwhile, there is another plot that has very much to do with action in the bedroom: Tamara tells Jake that she is “ready,” but we have a feeling that this is going to end up becoming much more complicated than it needs to be. Meanwhile, Sadie’s secret about her parents being broke is going to come out. Not only that, but it doesn’t quite look like it is much of a secret at all.
