‘The Good Wife’ season 4 finale spoilers: What didn’t make it into the episode?

In between Peter’s election and Cary potentially making a huge move when it comes to his career, expect Sunday night’s “The Good Wife” finale to be quite a big hour of television. It’s also going to be one of the most-stuffed episodes of the entire year, as there will be so much in the way of content that there was actually some pretty great stuff that was left on the cutting room floor.

So what is one of the most notable pieces that won’t make the show? How about the story that featured “The Vampire Diaries” fanfiction! This story was first revealed earlier this year in a discussion involving Diane, and it was going to be continued along here. However, executive producer Robert King explained in a chat with TVLine that it is sadly not going to be seeing the light of day:

“I’m kicking myself now because the episode was so long we had to cut it … We will get it online or something. It was a [great] shout-out to Kevin Williamson.”

If nothing else, you can be assured that this moment (which is bound to be rather hilarious and interesting from the standpoint of character development) will make it on to a DVD somewhere. Just in case you have not seen the video yet, you can check it out just by looking below.
