‘The Good Wife’ season 4 finale spoilers: Alicia, Will, Peter, and election night

The Good WifeOn Sunday night, “The Good Wife” season 4 is going to be coming to an end, and based on some of the first details that we have to share about it now, it appears as though we are in for quite a dramatic affair. With that in mind, it is almost surprising that the CBS series decided to name an hour of television that contains everything from an election to key relationship decisions something rather childish like “What’s in the Box”.  What does this mean?  We don’t have any idea, but Alicia is going to be making a key decision when it comes to her love life.

For those of you who love the Peter / Alicia / Will love triangle, the promo below is probably going to make you salivate. Meanwhile, the synopsis fills in a few cracks as to what some of the other characters are going to be up to:

“On the night of Peter’s gubernatorial election, Alicia, Will and Diane race to a series of emergency court proceedings when Zach believes he’s witnessed vote tampering. Meanwhile, an unlikely source offers Cary aid to start his own firm, while the conflicted feelings Alicia has in her personal and professional lives come to a head.”

It would not of course be “The Good Wife” without a massive heap of guest stars turning up, and the list for this episode is in particular rather fantastic. Martha Plimpton, T.R. Knight, and Dylan Baker are once again some of the primary names, but we will also have a return appearance from Denis O’Hare to boot.

What do you think is going to happen during the season finale, and who are you rooting for Alicia to be with? If you want to read even more details about the episode, be sure to head over here!
