‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2: Check out the animated battle for Storybrooke

Just like “Revenge,” “Once Upon a Time” is getting into the animated world courtesy of a brand-new promo for some upcoming episodes; and this time around, the story is really all about an epic battle for Storybrooke that is just around the corner.

What you may be somewhat disappointed about here is that there are no real plot spoilers at all in here, and it is more of a storybook-telling of some of the events that we saw all the way back in the pilot episode. It gives you a glimpse of someone of the characters and the worlds, while serving as some sort of reminder for what this show is really about more so than anything else: the fantasy of it all. This may have gotten lost in some of the recent episodes, but there is still hope here for a happy ending for all who deserves it.

In just a week from Sunday, the ABC drama is going to be back with new episode through the remainder of the season, and it is at this point we will start to see the buildup for what should be a pretty epic conclusion. After all, there are a number of forces that these characters are being forced to contend with right now: not only are they dealing with the fact that someone without a fairy-tale connection at all in Tamara is on the loose, but there is also drama courtesy of Captain Hook and of course Regina, the one constant for evil that always manages to stick around.
