‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 spoilers: Who’s set to have the next big shocker?

Is it sad to anyone else that we are already a fifth of the way through “Game of Thrones” season 3? While this is clearly something to be rather sad about, there is at least the positive news in this time around, the best is still to come in terms of surprising moments and big events. If you’ve read the George R.R. Martin book A Storm of Swords, you probably have a pretty good idea already as to what we’re talking about.

One of the characters who had some substantial screen time during the second episode of the season is Jaime Lannister, and if you are watching the series with no knowledge of the books, know this: the character’s capture alongside Brienne is really just the beginning of the story here. Speaking to E! News in a new interview on the subject, here is what actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau had to say about a major surprise that is on the way for the Jaime character:

“I can’t wait to hear the reaction at the end of this Sunday’s episode. It’s very dramatic.”

As for what it will be, we expect the moment to fall very much in line with what we know about the Jaime character already. He is clearly not someone who you can trust particularly easily, and he is far from the most-likable man in the world. However, there is something that is so compelling about the underdog journey for the Kingslayer that makes him completely captivating to watch, even if you are rooting for only horrible things to happen to him.
